Matt Walker, Senior Pastor
Matt grew up in northern Indiana and graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Even though Matt was heading for an engineering career, God had other plans for his life. After graduating from Purdue he stayed in Lafayette to work in a Campus Pastor Internship for a local church. It was through this service and the solid teaching of the local church that God changed Matt's heart from pursuing an engineering career to vocational Christian ministry.

He soon made plans to move to the "Big D" (Dallas, Texas) to attend Dallas Theological Seminary where he earned his Master of Theology degree in Pastoral Leadership. While in seminary Matt helped teach preaching and was named an outstanding senior preacher in his graduating class. Since graduating from DTS Matt has served as adjunct faculty at a Bible college and as both an associate and senior pastor of churches in Texas, Iowa, and Indiana. Matt and his wife, Anna, have a son named Grant and a daughter named Grace.

Matt's passion in ministry is to reach the surrounding community with the Gospel of Jesus. He is also a dynamic teacher and communicator of God's Word who strives to equip believers and train leaders so that they may, in turn, teach others to be rooted and built up in Him.

Jeremy Balch, Pastor of Worship and Administration
Jeremy began playing guitar at the age of six and has spent most of his life focusing his love for music on expressing his love for God. Becoming a Christian at 8 years old, later the high school ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ helped him develop a foundational faith. While working in the corporate world, Jeremy continued to use his talents to lift Jesus high by leading worship at several churches, working with youth, leading bible studies and ministering to others in any way. After 25 years in corporate leadership and leading a team of over 300 in both the southeast and midwest, he and his family felt it was time for a new adventure in life. Though part of the leadership team, and worship leader for many years, in 2009 Jeremy joined the GCC staff as worship pastor.

He and his wife Tristan have been married for over 20 years and have 2 children, Joshua and Anabelle. Both Jeremy and Tristan are from the Indianapolis area and enjoy family time, being outdoors and working along side others to further the message of Christ. Jeremy enjoys anything creative, projects around the home and taking in an occasional fun movie with the kids
