With our core values serving as guardrails, the strategy for ministry at GCC gives us a process through which we accomplish our mission to develop Christ followers. Our strategy also gives us a biblical portrait of the life of a Christ follower, which gives us a lens through which to evaluate our own individual lives as Christ followers.

Following Christ begins when you connect with God by trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. As our value of biblical community shows, being a Christ follower also means we connect with other people in an authentic way. Therefore, we must connect people by living out our values of love, cultural relevance, and biblical community.

Once a Christ follower is connected to God and other people, Scripture teaches us that a Christ follower must grow in their knowledge and understanding of who God is and what He has done for them. Therefore, we help people grow in a way that reflects our values of worship and excellence.

The natural response of a Christ follower who is connected and growing should be to serve others in a way that honors God and brings glory to Him. Therefore, we enable people to serve in a way that reflects our value of team ministry.
