Saturday morning, Sept. 15

 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

The heart of these sessions relate to two of the most important spiritual disciplines: reading the Bible and praying. Do your prayers ever feel boring or repetitious? Do you ever read your Bible, and then walk away, forgetting what you've read?  No matter where you're at in your Christian walk - Dr. Whitney (pastor, professor, and author of "Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life") will give Biblical, practical suggestions to grow your spiritual life - especially in prayer and scripture meditation.

  • Light snacks will be available throughout the weekend.
  • This weekend if free, but registration is required.  Space is limited!
  • There will be a handful of Dr. Whitney's book available to purchase for cash or check.
  • Dr. Whitney will also be preaching at Geist Community Church at 10:00 Sunday morning.

This event is sponsored in part by Indianapolis Theological Seminary, Crossroads Baptist Association, and The Gospel Coalition.
